Todd Lawrence Boehly ventures into new space with Europe’s Isar Aerospace

June 2025. Europe is increasing funding in new space activities while the United States cuts back relying on punitive tariffs and Elon Musk’s SpaceX. While Europe’s bottlenecks to take small satellites into orbit persist, a spin-off of Technical University Munich receives private funding to continue testing launching rockets. SpaceX experienced three falures (Falcon 1: 3.2006, 3.2007, 8.2008) before its first successful launch. Isar Aerospace has just been through one failed test with Spectrum.
